Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support in the assembly and plating of dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, blenders, and ovens, under supervision.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock.
- Follow proper food storage procedures to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations as per company and local guidelines.
Qualifications
- No prior kitchen experience required—training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Passion for food and a strong willingness to learn and grow in a culinary environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous but not required.
