Responsibility
- Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor and maintain network and system security, ensuring data protection and compliance.
- Assist in the deployment and updating of software applications and operating systems.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services and support.
- Conduct regular system checks and maintenance to prevent potential issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, and basic cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including occasional weekends if required.
