Responsibility
- Warmly welcome members and guests, providing exceptional front-line customer service and a positive first impression.
- Assist members with general inquiries, gym navigation, and basic equipment usage guidance.
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the gym floor, changing rooms, and common areas.
- Monitor gym facilities, ensuring all equipment is in working order and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Support administrative tasks, including membership check-ins, class registrations, and basic point-of-sale operations.
- Actively engage with members to foster a friendly and inclusive community atmosphere.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the facility is ready for operation or securely shut down.
- Handle minor first aid situations and emergency protocols when necessary, prioritizing member safety.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for fitness, health, and wellness, with an enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse individuals.
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar front-facing role is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with operating standard office and gym management software.
- Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Possession of a First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous but not strictly required upon hire.
