Responsibility

  • Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all details align with client expectations and brand standards.
  • Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests during events, including plated meals, buffets, and cocktail receptions.
  • Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure seamless coordination of service, including timing, guest flow, and special requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in banquet spaces before, during, and after events.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests with a positive attitude, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies, equipment, and linens for banquet events.
  • Support the team in preparing event documentation, such as guest lists, seating arrangements, and service timelines.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, banquet operations, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail service, is advantageous.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment or supplies weighing up to 15 kg.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a bonus.
