Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate coding and programming lessons (e.g., Scratch, Python, JavaScript) to students aged 6–18.
- Design and adapt interactive, project-based curricula to foster creativity and technical skills.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with the education team to develop new teaching materials and improve existing programs.
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation and risk-taking.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in coding education and integrate them into lessons.
- Organize and lead coding workshops, hackathons, or competitions to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring (formal or informal) in coding, computer science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Blockly) and familiarity with child-friendly coding platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for inspiring young learners in a fun, interactive setting.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for different age groups and skill levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
