Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with international curriculum standards (e.g., IB, Cambridge, or AP).
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects, extracurricular activities, and school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and administrators to ensure student success and well-being.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in professional development workshops, faculty meetings, and school events.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal development, including university preparation and career counseling.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Masterâs degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in an international school setting.
- Teaching certification or license (e.g., PGCE, TEFL, or state/national certification).
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience with international curricula (IB, Cambridge, AP, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
