Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across Decathlon stores, including sales floors, restrooms, and staff areas.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
- Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly and efficiently.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues to the store manager.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including window cleaning, floor polishing, and upholstery care.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Collaborate with the store team to address cleaning needs during peak hours or special events.
- Adhere to Decathlonâs uniform policy and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- No prior experience requiredâtraining will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift light to moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
