Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in retail and warehouse areas, including floors, shelves, and common spaces
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces (door handles, railings, checkout counters) to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the facilities manager
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including window washing, carpet cleaning, and restroom maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Respond promptly to spillages and other cleaning emergencies
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a tidy and organized workspace
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required (full training provided)
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift light to moderate loads (up to 10 kg)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and chemicals (training provided)
