Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and other beverages to customer specifications.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café workspace, including equipment and service areas.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and daily reconciliations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality role is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and equipment is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is a bonus.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags, supplies).
