Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, matcha, and other specialty beverages according to brand standards and customer preferences.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Deliver orders promptly to customers, whether at the counter, via takeaway, or through in-house service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace, including restocking supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations, especially during peak hours.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, new menu items, and best practices in customer service to continuously improve guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing role in hospitality is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and beverage preparation is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 10 kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Passion for hospitality, customer service, and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
