Responsibility
- Plan, organize, and oversee all banquet and event operations to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of banquet staff, including supervisors, servers, and setup crews, to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with sales, culinary, and F&B teams to coordinate event details, menus, and logistics.
- Manage event setups, including audiovisual, dĂŠcor, and seating arrangements, to align with client expectations.
- Monitor banquet budgets, control costs, and optimize resources to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all events.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain Accorâs reputation for excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance event experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banquet or event management within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, clients, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in hospitality.
- Bachelorâs degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, French) are a plus.
