Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and more, following Golden Goose's high standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a pleasant experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee machine, counter, and seating areas.
- Educate customers about our coffee offerings, including origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is a plus.
