Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of fresh dough, sauces, and toppings according to authentic Italian recipes.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Follow established recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in every dish.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and food processors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Participate in training sessions to expand culinary knowledge and skills.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and waste reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Passion for cooking and a strong interest in Italian cuisine, particularly pizza-making.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10-15 kg.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English (basic Indonesian is a plus).
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
