Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and operate POS systems with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and payment terminals.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries or complaints with patience and a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and service standards set by the cafe.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (cashier, waitstaff, or hospitality) is preferred but not required—training provided for the right attitude!
- Fluent in English (additional Indonesian language skills are a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to engage with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Neat, professional appearance and a positive, team-player mindset.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
