Responsibility

  • Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Process payments, handle cash transactions, and operate POS systems with precision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and payment terminals.
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries or complaints with patience and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.
  • Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and service standards set by the cafe.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (cashier, waitstaff, or hospitality) is preferred but not required—training provided for the right attitude!
  • Fluent in English (additional Indonesian language skills are a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to engage with guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Neat, professional appearance and a positive, team-player mindset.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
