Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality espresso-based beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, adhering to Kanary Bakery's standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our menu.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with local health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and menu items.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for customers and staff alike.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming techniques, and latte art.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
