Responsibility
- Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering enrichment activities for children aged 2-12.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Engage children in interactive lessons, games, and creative projects to enhance their cognitive and social skills.
- Provide one-on-one attention to students who need additional support or encouragement.
- Monitor and document children's progress, sharing observations with lead teachers and parents as needed.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials, ensuring resources are readily available for lessons.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously improve teaching techniques.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education certification is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, babysitting, or teaching) is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for fostering children's growth and development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Basic understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Willingness to undergo paid training and adhere to Heguru's educational philosophy.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
