Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the palm oil mill, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize mill performance and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international environmental and safety regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mill operators, engineers, and support staff.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of palm oil output, adhering to industry and company standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely raw material supply and product distribution.
- Implement and maintain sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.
- Prepare and present regular reports on mill performance, budgets, and operational metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in palm oil mill operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management or directorial role.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in a mill environment.
- Strong knowledge of palm oil processing technologies, quality control, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ISO, RSPO, and other industry certifications is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and travel as needed.
