Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for palm and lauric oils to meet production demands while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and update palm oil operations, including inventory management, supplier performance, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with Unileverâs sustainability standards (e.g., RSPO certification, deforestation-free sourcing).
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the palm oil industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers, and cooperatives to secure high-quality raw materials.
- Prepare detailed reports on sourcing activities, costs, and sustainability metrics for stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving traceability and transparency in the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the palm oil or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record in negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of sustainable sourcing practices and industry certifications (e.g., RSPO, ISPO).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
