Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily packaging operations to ensure on-time, high-quality output.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to packaging standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of packaging staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a productive work environment.
- Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize material waste.
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions to resolve defects or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to streamline workflows and meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production volumes, downtime, and resource utilization.
- Identify and recommend innovations in packaging materials, equipment, or methods to enhance performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging supervision, production, or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, machinery, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure product integrity and compliance.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
