Responsibility
- Analyze and calculate packaging material costs, labor, and overhead to determine competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize packaging designs for cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain cost databases and pricing models for various packaging solutions.
- Conduct market research to benchmark pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
- Monitor industry trends and material costs to adjust pricing strategies proactively.
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate better rates and terms for raw materials.
- Generate reports on cost variances, savings, and efficiency improvements for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost analysis, pricing, or financial modeling, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with ERP or cost management software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
