Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of OTC Deductions Analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the end-to-end deductions management process, ensuring timely resolution and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze deduction trends and root causes, implementing strategies to reduce disputes and improve cash flow.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve complex deduction issues and enhance customer relationships.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for deductions processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on deduction metrics, trends, and performance to senior management.
- Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for OTC deductions, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Order to Cash (OTC) processes, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of deductions management, dispute resolution, and financial controls.
- Proven experience in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing junior staff.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Accounting (e.g., CPA, CIA) or relevant professional qualifications is a plus.
