Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and eye health.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, tailored to patients’ needs.
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, and cataracts, referring patients to specialists when necessary.
- Provide personalized consultations on eyewear selection, lens options, and frame styling.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and preventive measures to maintain optimal vision.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales of optical products.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or a related field; certification as an Optician is a plus.
- Valid license to practice optometry in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Proven experience in conducting eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing patient records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision in diagnostics and lens fitting.
- Familiarity with optical retail operations and sales techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple clinic locations in Bali.
- Passion for delivering high-quality eye care with a patient-centric approach.
