Responsibility
- Operate and maintain portable X-ray and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in onsite and field settings.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance (e.g., ALARA principles) to protect patients, staff, and the public.
- Perform patient positioning, exposure techniques, and image processing to achieve optimal diagnostic results.
- Conduct equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure operational readiness and image accuracy.
- Maintain meticulous patient records, imaging logs, and quality control documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to interpret imaging needs and provide technical support.
- Educate patients on procedures, safety measures, and radiation exposure risks to ensure informed consent and comfort.
- Transport and set up mobile radiology units efficiently in various locations, including clinics, hospitals, and patient homes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, with a valid professional license (e.g., PRRT in the Philippines or equivalent in Indonesia).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in mobile/portable imaging or field operations.
- Proficient in operating digital X-ray machines, CR/DR systems, and PACS for image storage and retrieval.
- Strong knowledge of radiation physics, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure accurate imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic environments, including travel to multiple sites across Bali.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and familiarity with infection control protocols.
- Physical stamina to lift equipment (up to 20 kg) and work in varied conditions (e.g., outdoor, clinical, or home settings).
