Responsibility
- Conduct training sessions on refraction techniques, eye examinations, and optical product knowledge.
- Develop and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
- Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure proficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in optometry.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify training needs and improve programs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols in all training activities.
- Mentor and support new hires during their onboarding and continuous development.
- Represent VIUUM EYEWEAR at industry events and workshops as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Optometry, Ophthalmology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an optician, optometrist, or optical trainer.
- Strong knowledge of refraction techniques, lens fitting, and eye health.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to simplify complex optical concepts for trainees of varying skill levels.
- Passion for teaching and developing others in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with optical equipment and software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel between Bali locations as required.
