Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and refractive errors.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, based on patient needs.
- Operate and maintain optical equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in all measurements.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, lens maintenance, and the importance of regular eye check-ups.
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide integrated eye care services.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Assist in the selection of frames and lenses, providing expert advice on style and functionality.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optical technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Optometry, Optical Refraction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Optical Refractionist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of optical instruments and refractive techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a high volume of patient appointments.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing accurate and reliable eye care services.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Bali, with a valid work permit if applicable.
