Responsibility
- Perform duplex scans and vascular examinations, including carotid, peripheral arterial, venous, and abdominal aortic aneurysm surveillance.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality results.
- Analyze and interpret diagnostic images and data to provide preliminary findings to physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans based on diagnostic results.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during diagnostic procedures.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with the latest advancements in vascular diagnostic technologies.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a sterile and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field.
- Certification or licensure as a Medical Technologist or Vascular Technologist.
- Proven experience in performing vascular diagnostic procedures, including duplex scans.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent technical skills in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret diagnostic images accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
