As an Ophthalmic Assistant Intern, you will assist in patient care, perform basic eye examinations, and learn about various eye conditions and treatments. This internship is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of ophthalmology. You will also have the chance to work in multiple locations across Bali, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
This is a full-time internship starting in September 2026, with a minimum commitment of 6 months. Whether you're a recent graduate or a student looking to gain practical experience, this internship will provide you with invaluable insights and hands-on training in the healthcare industry.
Responsibility
- Assist ophthalmologists in patient examinations and treatments.
- Perform basic eye tests and measurements under supervision.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on eye care and post-treatment instructions.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills.
- Provide support to the medical team in various clinical and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a healthcare-related program.
- Strong interest in ophthalmology and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 6 months.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
