Responsibility
- Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms, including M-mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging, with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiograms as required by physician orders.
- Assess cardiac anatomy and function, identifying abnormalities such as valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, and congenital heart defects.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret findings and provide comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
- Educate patients on procedures, addressing concerns and providing clear, empathetic communication.
- Document all findings meticulously in electronic health records (EHR) and comply with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Radiologic Technology, Sonography, or a related field; certification in Cardiac Sonography (e.g., RDCS, RCS) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with proficiency in adult and pediatric echocardiography.
- Strong technical skills in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting cardiac images.
- In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, local standards).
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or hold valid work authorization for Indonesia.
