Responsibility
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during fertility and gynecological procedures in the operating theatre.
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Monitor and care for patients in the daycare unit before and after procedures, providing post-operative support.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient records accurately, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care, recovery expectations, and follow-up instructions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure all medical equipment is properly sterilized, calibrated, and ready for use.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Council (PPNI).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating theatre or daycare nursing, preferably in fertility/gynecology.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
