Responsibility
- Assist licensed physiotherapists in the delivery of therapy services, including preparing treatment areas, setting up equipment, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Support patient flow by scheduling appointments, managing waitlists, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of therapists, such as assisting with mobility exercises, transfers, and ambulation.
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and any observations in electronic health records (EHR) as required.
- Educate patients and their families on basic rehabilitation exercises, home care techniques, and preventive measures.
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and inventory management of therapy supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare assistance, nursing, or physiotherapy is a plus.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation center, is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, patient care, and medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are an advantage.
