Responsibility
- Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms, including M-mode, Doppler, and Color flow imaging.
- Assist in diagnosing and monitoring various cardiac conditions using ultrasound technology.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting of findings.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Educate patients on the echocardiogram procedure and address any concerns or questions.
- Document and archive patient data and imaging results in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac imaging technology and techniques.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification in Cardiac Sonography (e.g., RDCS or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting imaging results.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
