As an OPEX Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. Responsibility

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to support operational and financial accounting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance financial performance.
  • Support tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational accounting, general ledger, or financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial data management.
  • Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment is preferred.
