Responsibility
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to support operational and financial accounting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance financial performance.
- Support tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational accounting, general ledger, or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial data management.
- Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment is preferred.
