Responsibility
- Supervise daily port/terminal operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and strict adherence to turnaround timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of operational staff to maintain high performance and morale.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on daily operational productivity to management.
- Ensure full compliance with international maritime safety standards and local port regulations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments including maintenance, documentation, and customer service teams.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and lead process improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
- Handle real-time troubleshooting for operational incidents to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in port operations, terminal management, or large-scale logistics environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing shift teams.
- Excellent knowledge of terminal operating systems (TOS) and MS Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations in a port/logistics setting.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
