Responsibility
- Monitor and coordinate daily trucking operations to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Track fleet performance, including fuel efficiency, maintenance schedules, and driver compliance.
- Optimize delivery routes to reduce costs and improve service efficiency.
- Liaise with drivers, clients, and warehouse teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and any incidents or delays.
- Ensure all trucking activities comply with local and national transportation regulations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special logistics projects or high-priority shipments.
- Provide regular reports on operational metrics, challenges, and improvements to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, trucking, or transportation operations.
- Strong understanding of fleet management, route planning, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and clients.
- Proficient in using logistics software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
