Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily tug and barge operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring vessel movements.
- Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with port authorities, clients, and internal teams to optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices for tug and barge operations.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Manage and mentor a team of maritime professionals, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vessel readiness and safety.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tug and barge operations or maritime logistics.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
