Responsibility
- Operate Class 3 lorries to transport chemicals, marine materials, and other specialized cargo safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company policies, and industry-specific guidelines for hazardous materials handling.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and documentation for all shipments.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or delays immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or chemical transportation.
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads and traffic regulations, particularly in Badung and surrounding areas.
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling hazardous materials (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
- Basic English communication skills for coordination with international clients (if applicable).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
