Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all warehouse activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and KPIs.
- Implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Develop and execute strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining high service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
