Responsibility
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Lead supplier negotiations and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and supplier performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, strategic procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
