Responsibility
- Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train a team of drivers, mechanics, and operational staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce adherence to local and international transportation regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition, minimizing downtime and extending asset lifespan.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., fuel efficiency, delivery times, cost per mile) to identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on fleet performance, incidents, and operational costs for senior management.
- Vendor & Client Relations: Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to negotiate contracts and resolve service-related issues.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost control without compromising service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in fleet management, logistics, or transport operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of transportation regulations, vehicle maintenance, and supply chain logistics in Indonesia.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license and certifications in logistics management or occupational safety are advantageous.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational emergencies as needed.
