Responsibility
- Process and manage air export shipments in compliance with Indonesian and international regulations, including DLSOP standards.
- Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, and ground handlers to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Liaise with customers to clarify instructions, provide updates, and resolve any discrepancies in shipment details.
- Monitor shipment statuses, track delays, and proactively communicate solutions to stakeholders.
- Optimize routing and consolidation strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and documentation in internal systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in air freight logistics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in air freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Air Export DLSOP and Indonesian customs/export regulations.
- Proficient in using logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, KN FreightNet) and MS Office tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Familiarity with IATA regulations and dangerous goods handling is a plus.
