Responsibility
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in semiconductor production.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions.
- Analyze production data to detect trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to design and deploy standardized work procedures and best practices.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track the success of improvement initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional projects to reduce downtime, improve yield, and minimize waste in fabrication processes.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements in semiconductor manufacturing and recommend innovative technologies or methodologies.
- Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement tools and foster a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations improvement, process engineering, or manufacturing, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Python, or SQL) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects with measurable impact on efficiency, quality, or cost savings.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence and align teams across departments.
