Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor end-to-end import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to facilitate smooth import processes.
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions, invoices, and inventory for auditing and reporting.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to align import schedules with inventory needs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in import logistics.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports to management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian import regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Indonesian.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping documentation is a plus.
