Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end sea freight export operations, including booking, documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant shipments.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve operational issues, such as delays, customs holds, or documentation discrepancies.
- Optimize shipping routes and costs to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on shipment status, costs, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client inquiries and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sea freight operations, export logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Proficient in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
