Responsibility
- Coordinate between shippers, consignees, and internal agents to facilitate smooth import/export operations.
- Manage and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and logistics protocols.
- Monitor shipment statuses and resolve operational delays or discrepancies proactively.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to optimize routes and costs.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and operational metrics using ERP systems.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on shipment progress, potential risks, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and cost optimization.
- Certifications in logistics (e.g., CILT, FIATA) are highly advantageous.
