Responsibility
- Support and execute key bioprocess steps to produce high-quality bulk drug substances.
- Collaborate with operators, technical leads, and engineers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and maintain bioprocess equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Document and report process deviations, ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and quality.
- Train and mentor junior team members on best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with GSK's quality and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bioprocess operations, preferably in vaccines or biologics manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with bioprocess equipment and automation systems.
