Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on oil field equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of failures.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment efficiency and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and team members.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanic or Electromechanical Technician, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Certification in relevant technical fields is a plus.
