Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls in biotech facilities.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support biotech production processes and laboratory operations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to local regulations, company policies, and biotech industry best practices.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of electrical upgrades to enhance facility efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Familiarity with biotech or laboratory equipment electrical requirements is a plus.
- Proficient in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
