Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the medical laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Lead and supervise a team of laboratory technicians and staff, providing guidance and support.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Manage inventory and procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the laboratory.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in leading and supervising a medical laboratory.
- Possess a valid certificate under Akta 774.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory operations and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
