Responsibility
- Develop and maintain Excel VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks and improve data processing efficiency.
- Analyze insurance operations data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process optimizations.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards for senior management using advanced Excel functions and pivot tables.
- Monitor and validate data accuracy across insurance systems and databases.
- Assist in the migration or integration of new financial/insurance software tools.
- Provide training and support to team members on Excel VBA and data analysis best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all operational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Operations Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with insurance products, underwriting, or claims processes is highly desirable.
