Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain Excel VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks and improve data processing efficiency.
  • Analyze insurance operations data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process optimizations.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards for senior management using advanced Excel functions and pivot tables.
  • Monitor and validate data accuracy across insurance systems and databases.
  • Assist in the migration or integration of new financial/insurance software tools.
  • Provide training and support to team members on Excel VBA and data analysis best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Operations Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, underwriting, or claims processes is highly desirable.
