Responsibility
- Prepare and sterilize operating theatre equipment, instruments, and supplies before and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during operations.
- Ensure the operating theatre is maintained in a clean, sterile, and organized condition in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor and restock medical supplies and inventory to ensure availability for emergencies and scheduled procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment, including surgical lights, suction machines, and patient monitoring systems.
- Support patient transfer to and from the operating theatre, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless workflow during procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain accurate records of equipment usage and sterilization processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Operating Theatre Technology, Nursing, or a related medical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Operating Theatre Technician or in a similar role (fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered).
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and operating room protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient handling.
- Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is advantageous.
